Raised partly in suburban surroundings and later in rural farmland, Chris discovered his passion for sailing in his early twenties, introduced to it by a close friend. Since that pivotal moment, he has amassed over 24,000NM of nautical miles, primarily offshore, and obtained certifications from esteemed organizations like CYA, RYA, and IMQ. Chris spent years as a partner in a sailboat charter company, overseeing technical operations and engaging in customer service and sales.
In 2009, he undertook a journey, extensively refitting a Kaufman aluminum sailboat, circumnavigating the North Atlantic with solo offshore crossing propelled by trade winds. Today, Chris calls Sint Maarten home, residing aboard his vessel.
Alongside his maritime pursuits, Chris has pursued a career as a custom software engineer. Fluent in French and English, he aims to enhance his language skills with Spanish.
As a yacht broker, Chris is committed to understanding his client's needs and providing valuable, solution-oriented service. His dedication stems from a genuine passion for connecting individuals with their maritime dreams—a true matchmaker in the world of yachting.
