John is a lifelong boater, sailor, fisherman, and outdoorsman. While attending Florida State University, he became a licensed captain holding a Master’s endorsement. He began working for Galati as a boat detailer and a company captain with responsibilities including vessel orientations for new owners, new boat commissioning, boat deliveries, boat show support, sales support, and customer service support.
After graduating from the highly regarded Yacht Broker’s Institute in 2014, John worked at our Orange Beach, AL location, where he became a Certified Professional Yacht Broker (CPYB) and member of the International Yacht Brokers Association (IYBA). He has since returned to his hometown of Destin, FL where he is dedicated to helping his friends and customers with their boating needs along the Gulf coast and beyond.
