Description
The Carver 450 Voyager Pilothouse has a spacious flybridge with gold-trimmed custom-built gauges and dual captain's chairs. It also has a luxurious raised pilothouse below with an UltraLeather dinette - lounge, a power helm seat, and an overhead console. On the flybridge, a curved lounge and a wetbar provide the ideal place for entertaining. An integral staircase leads to another comfortable spot, the roomy cockpit. Below, lustrous cherry wood trim, designer fabrics and an entertainment center with TV - SAT TV and stereo enhance the inviting salon. An UltraLeather sofa with incliners and a love seat provide room to relax, while the wetbar adds to the fun. The ultramodern galley is equipped with a three-burner cooktop, a microwave, solid surface countertops, and a dual voltage refrigerator and freezer. Overnight accommodations on the Carver 450 Voyager Pilothouse include a master stateroom with a queen-size berth, built-in storage, dual nightstands and cedar-lined lockers, plus a private head compartment with separate shower. The forward stateroom has a queen-size berth and a cedar-lined hanging locker. The access to the guest head is from the companionway. All the lighting onboard has been updated to LED.
The Carver Voyager series was much different than their other motoryachts. This is a great cruising design, powered by the two Cummins 450hp Diamond Series Diesels (1,055 hours port, 1,064 hours starboard) with straight shafts and updated electronic controls at both stations. A Vetus bowthruster aids in the maneuverability around the dock. Line handling is made easy with from the large cockpit, the wide side decks with high stainless steel rails and the large foredeck. Storage for fenders is plentiful in the swim platform as well as at the bow, so no fender racks are necessary and the space is utilized to the maximum. There's even additional storage in the transom, accessible from the swim platform. No need to bring a month's worth of clothing as you are able to wash your laundry with separate washer and dryer onboard.
The boat was just hauled, powerwashed and fully detailed the last week of September 2024. Cooling systems on the diesels was completed by Cummins less than 50 hours ago on the engines. Kohler generator has 288 hours.

I grew up in Monmouth County, NJ, and have spent over 40 years on the water. After graduating from Syracuse University, I spent 25 years on Wall Street, managing a hedge fund, raising capital, and assisting companies in going public. My passion for boating started in 1983 when a family friend took us out on their boat, and from that moment, I was hooked. My parents soon bought our first boat, a Sea Ray 26 Sundancer, and over the years, we upgraded to a 55′ sportfish. In the early 2000s, I began buying my own boats, ranging from a 13′ tender to a Hatteras 60 Convertible.
In 2011, I decided to turn my love for boating into a career, helping clients purchase their first or next boat. With my personal experience as a boat owner, I understand the importance of both the sale and the service that follows. My favorite part of each season is hearing about the memories my clients create on their boats. I currently live in Ocean, NJ, with my wife, son, daughter, and our Bernese Mountain Doodle, Bailey. When I’m not at home, you can usually find me Captaining a 70′ Sportfish or assisting clients on the water.
