Description
Where else can you find a beautiful, updated, low hour (559 hours), quality brand 48' Motoryacht for $249,000? This owner has updated this boat with beautiful wood floors and softgoods throughout. The wood craftsmanship on this vessel show very well. Use it as a yacht meant for cruising or a home on the water. You can't go wrong.
Sunseeker's Manhattan 48 is a beautifully finished Mediterranean motor yacht with a sleek sedan-style profile and exciting performance and design. . Like most European production yachts, she's built on a deep- V hull with moderate beam and prop pockets to reduce draft. The two level floorplan of the Manhattan places the Caterpillar diesels (435hp) beneath the cockpit with V-Drives, rather than under the salon. The galley is down in this three stateroom layout. Both heads are fitted with separate stall showers. The cream leather upholstery, lacquered woodwork, and matching vinyl overheads create a rich and very appealing salon and lower helm area. Updated Kona wood floors really make this living space stand out. Visibility from the elevated lower helm is excellent. Sliding glass doors open to the aft deck and swim platform. Topside, there's seating for six on the flybridge plus extra sunbathing space. A good-running yacht, twin 435-hp Cat diesels will cruise the 48 Manhattan at a comfortable 22 knots and reach a top speed of 26-27 knots. A bow thruster makes tight quarters docking and handling safe and easy. The bimini canvas is stored off the boat.
The owner wants the boat sold before winter as his plans have changed. Bring all reasonable offers.

I grew up in Monmouth County, NJ, and have spent over 40 years on the water. After graduating from Syracuse University, I spent 25 years on Wall Street, managing a hedge fund, raising capital, and assisting companies in going public. My passion for boating started in 1983 when a family friend took us out on their boat, and from that moment, I was hooked. My parents soon bought our first boat, a Sea Ray 26 Sundancer, and over the years, we upgraded to a 55′ sportfish. In the early 2000s, I began buying my own boats, ranging from a 13′ tender to a Hatteras 60 Convertible.
In 2011, I decided to turn my love for boating into a career, helping clients purchase their first or next boat. With my personal experience as a boat owner, I understand the importance of both the sale and the service that follows. My favorite part of each season is hearing about the memories my clients create on their boats. I currently live in Ocean, NJ, with my wife, son, daughter, and our Bernese Mountain Doodle, Bailey. When I’m not at home, you can usually find me Captaining a 70′ Sportfish or assisting clients on the water.
