Description
AEOLI (name reserved), formerly BLUEWATER and previously SERENITY, is a top-notch 2002 Hylas 54 ready to continue her journeys.
AEOLI, H54#24, is equipped with all hydraulic furlers, eliminating the issues associated with electric mainsail furling. She also features electric two-speed primary winches and a mainsheet winch. Forward, she has optional adjustable staysail cars, allowing you to modify the sheeting angle for greater versatility. Aft, the top-of-the-line stainless steel Simpson Lawrence davits gleam in the sunlight and now support a custom stainless steel rack with 1kW of solar panels.
The interior was customized at the time of order to include a wrap-around dinette, providing additional seating and storage. The interior trim is finished in high-gloss instead of matte, with louvered cabinetry. Additional rich teak trim and paneling accent the portlights and windows, while the headliner was upgraded to supple leather.
A third refrigeration compartment was added to the galley for extended cruising. At the companionway, two sturdy stainless steel handrails ensure safe access to and from the cockpit. The nav station is traditionally forward-facing, allowing for a doorway to the aft shower - an uncommon feature in later H54 models.
Under her original owner, SERENITY was a full-time liveaboard vessel, captain-maintained, and seasonally used. During the offseason, she was stored on the hard in Grenada. The second owner purchased her in 2019, renamed her BLUEWATER, and continued her meticulous upkeep. The current owners acquired her in 2023, renaming her AEOLI, and have maintained the same high standards. They completed a refit in preparation for a Mediterranean voyage, though their plans have changed. AEOLI is now ready for anything, with regular maintenance performed by her owners and long-time trusted professionals in Grenada.
