Lou is a Member of the American Boat and Yacht Council, and a Certified Professional Yacht Broker. The firm also belongs to the California Yacht Brokers Association. As a full-time broker and fully committed to the company, he regularly updates his credentials with courses such as Diesel Mechanics, Coastal Navigation, and Marlinspike from local colleges and attends continuing education seminars from SAMS, the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors. Lou also offers thermal imaging (photo & video) services and has been Certified with Thermal Image equipment.
Originally from "back east, Connecticut" Lou is a graduate of Boston University. His love of boats and the ocean comes from early family vacations on Cape Cod, visits to Mystic Seaport, along with a vivid imagination of "sailing ships".
Lou also spent over 5 years as a crew member aboard various cruise ships traveling from New York thru the Caribbean Islands, along the coast of South America to Africa and around both Capes.
