Large hanging lockers throughout. Chart table to starboard from passageway to the aft cabin. Large water capacity for long cruises. On deck you'll find extra wide walkways and high bulwarks for sure footing, anchor stowage compartment and a comfortable cockpit great for entertaining. The previous owners sailed the Floridian Coast and the farthest voyage took them to Trinidad and Tobago. Our current owners purchased Osprey in 2004 in Punta Gorda Florida and have cruised her regularly since. Jerel and his wife have adventured to the Dry Tortugas, KeyWest, Florida Keys, North to Fort Pierce, Northern Bahamas, Marsh Harbor, Bimini to Nassau from Frazers Hog, Shroud Cay and as far South as Georgetown, Exumas. They have lovingly and successfully completed 4 trips to the Bahamas in their time aboard and are saddened to hang up their wets! Capt. Rod Thomas Served as a marine engineer for DS Marine Palma Mallorca and also operated as delivery skipper in the Mediterranean for many years. Rod is an RYA Yacht/Ocean Master and also holds a USA Captains License.
In recent years having moved to Florida from the South Coast of the UK he has studied and received his Marine Surveyors License and continued his passion by joining the S&J Yacht Sales Team operating the Coastline of Venice Florida to Fort Myers out of the Palmetto office .
Rod owns a Classic Kadey Krogen 38' Cutter and an Ericson 38' for good measure and sails when time is available out of Charlotte Boat Storage Placida Florida.
