Description
HUGE RECENT PRICE REDUCTION HIGHLY MOTIVATED SELLER !
The Oceanis 38.1 features a chined hull and twin canted rudder design that offers particularly surprising cruising comfort. At normal degrees of heel she rests on the chine with the leeward rudder in a vertical position, which makes for a very light helm. Twin steering stations set outboard not only offer exceptional sight lines while sailing, but also afford easy access from the cockpit to the huge, fold-down swim platform while at anchor. Underway, she is nimble and fast, easy to sail shorthanded but with a large enough cockpit to accommodate bigger crews. The design team for this model succeeded in enlarging the the living space in the salon while maintaining the visual perspective offered in previous popular versions. Accessible by a double door, the owner's cabin forward offers privacy when closed and when open creates the spacious ambiance of a much larger yacht.
ARIEL has been lovingly maintained and lightly used, with only 120 hours on her reliable Yanmar diesel engine. She comes with the popular 3-cabin, one head layout with L-shaped galley. Her deeper draft keel and traditional battened mainsail ensure that she will outperform most boats in her class, especially to windward. Don't miss this rare opportunity to own a fast, stable cruiser in "like new" condition. She is ready to take you and your family and friends on your next sailing adventure. Call today for an appointment to get on board and check out this beautiful yacht!

Accommodations
The Beneteau 38.1 has an exceptionally large cockpit, very comfortable while underway and an excellent place for entertaining while at anchor. A large bi-fold cockpit table has room for six to dine. ARIEL was fitted with teak on the seats and cockpit sole, adding an element of yachting luxury. A huge fold-down swim platform provides fantastic access to the water and makes boarding from a dinghy very easy. The twin-helm design not only gives you excellent sightlines while sailing, but also clears a wide path for entering or exiting the cockpit.
Stepping down below on the gently sloping companionway stairs, you will find a compact and well-laid-out galley to port with everything you need to store and prepare food while cruising. The large head is to starboard. Tall people have no worries; there is 6'4" of headroom in the main salon and galley and 6'2" in the head and staterooms. Each of the three staterooms have a large double berth and ample closet and drawer space. Overhead hatches and portlights provide excellent light and ventilation throughout the interior.
Overall, it would be difficult to find another 38-foot sailboat with a more roomy or better thought out interior design and accommodations, something Beneteau is known the world over for as a leader and innovator in the industry.
