Description
The Landfall 38 is a direct descendent of the old C&C 38', the hull was modified to provide fuller sections forward, a longer, shoaler keel, a raked transom (not reverse transom), and longer deck house for increased interior volume. The Landfall is 2000 lbs heavier with a slightly shorter, easy-to-handle rig with S/S rigging set inboard for better sheeting angle, thereby offering a stiff and well-balanced fast cruiser with a PHRF rating of 120. This makes her a more responsive cruiser than her nearest competitor, the Tartan 37, which has a 126 PHRF rating. The interior layout with her teak varnished finish is one of the best in the business. PANASEA has more teak cabinets and interior trim than some of her sisterships.
Please note recent upgrades since 2014 when the present owner purchased PANASEA are as follows: soda blasted and epoxied, and barrier coated bottom, refinished brightwork, new Maxwell windlass, new awning, new Isotherm hot water heater, new holding tank and fuel tank, new steering cables, new 110V air conditioning, new battery charger, new alternator and AGM battery, new Autopilot & Garmin Radar-GPS, new TV and Wifi antenna, new VHF, new Awlgripped mast and boom, new Dutchman for main, new running rigging, and new head and hoses and much, much more. Last year 2024, this same owner put in new refrigerator, new standing rigging and sails, and new roller furler. He has been a meticulous owner.
We believe PANASEA is in very good condition and makes an ideal family racer-cruiser. Please call us for your inspection and thank you for your interest.
