Chris Fox
Owner of Fox Yacht Sales
A native of Port Aransas, Texas, Chris Fox has been deeply connected to the Gulf Coast fishing culture throughout his entire life. From the time he was old enough to take his skiff out on the water, Chris has been fishing tournaments. At just 14 years old he began working as a mate and building his experience over the next three decades.
He briefly left Port A to attend Texas A&M where he graduated with a degree in Management in 2004, all the while working as a mate aboard the Clean Sweep, fishing along the Gulf Coast as well as various Ports in Mexico. A standout moment in his fishing career came in 2013, when he and his team aboard the Let It Ride claimed victory in the prestigious POCO Bueno Fishing Tournament.
Chris began selling boats for Fox Yacht Sales in 2006, a business established by his father, Pete Fox in the late eighties. After gaining experience working alongside Pete, Chris took ownership of the company in 2010. Under his leadership, Fox Yacht Sales has continued to thrive as a prominent name in yacht sales along the Gulf Coast.
Today, Chris remains deeply involved in the fishing community, not only through his work at Fox Yacht Sales but also by contributing to various fishing events. He is a tournament director for the Texas Women Anglers Tournament and the Billfish Pachanga Fishing Tournament, continuing to give back to the industry that has shaped his life. Above all, Chris is committed to passing on his love for fishing to the next generation, raising his two daughters to share his passion for the sport.
