Description
Lovely vessel that one family has enjoyed and cruised extensively in her early days. The owners have just replaced all her thru-hulls, had a rigging inspection, and her keel was sealed and fresh bottom paint applied. All this has been done in July and August 2025. This spring the Teak overlay on her Sugar Scoop transom was removed, re-fiberglassed and Non-skid applied. She may be light on electronics but the owners never needed much and thus she is an open slate for her new owner to add what ever system they desire. Owners have been very pro-active and attentive to Pua's needs and it shows. This is a wonderful family cruiser with 3 private staterooms.

Accomodations
Lovely interior for the cruising family. Starting forward and working aft will walk you thru her interior layout. The Master head is in the forepeake, it is well ventilated with head, sink and shower unit all in one. The head is followed by the deluxe forward owner's stateroom. Large double Pullman berth to starboard, lockers and bench seat to port. Storage under the berth, opening portlights and overhead hatch for excellent ventilation.
Next is the large and open salon. Here she offers a large and well appointed Galley to port. To starboard is a U-shaped dinette with bench centerline for dining all around the table. The forward facing navigation station is aft of the dinette to starboard. Opposite the Nav station is the second head. There is an abundance of natural light and ventilation floods the interior through many deck hatches, portholes and dorade vents. The 411 has a rich, handcrafted cherry-stained jounerwork which adds to her warmth below deck. Storage is great for extended cruising.
Access to the engine compartment is via the centerline companionway stairs as well as from each of the aft cabins. Pua has the three stateroom layout with mirrored aft quarter cabins with double berths, hanging lockers, seat and opening portlight. Her warm Cherry woodwork extends throughout the vessel.
Moving up the companionway to the cockpit you are greeted by a large T-shaped cockpit that is easy to get around and is set up for single handing. Wide decks makes going forward an ease. The Sugar Scoop transom is great for gaining access to the boat from the dinghy or swimming off the vessel. This is truly a well thought out cruising vessel that has an underbody that will preform equally as well.

The water has always been a part of my life since learning to sail aboard a Sailfish while vacationing in Chatham, Massachusetts. At twelve, I graduated to Penguins and 420’s at the Tred Avon Yacht Club in Oxford, Maryland. My parents always belonged to the Corinthian Yacht Club in Philadelphia and I often accompanied them on cruises aboard a Hinckley Bermuda 40 that we cruised in the Chesapeake.
Understanding banking after working 12 years for Loyola Savings and Loan of Maryland, I helped navigate the purchase of a 32’ Pearson Vanguard for a friend and taught him to sail. Loving the idea of sharing my passion for boating, I joined Oxford Boatyard Yacht Sales (in what is now Safe Harbor Oxford Boatyard and Marina) in 1990 and worked as a broker and office manager for 25 years.
In 1993, Oxford Boatyard Yacht Sales became a dealer for Sabre and Back Cove Motor Yachts and I acquired an understanding and respect for powerboats. I worked closely with the boatyard commissioning new vessels and working as a liaison between new owners and the marina. I have an intimate understanding of the boat buying process - how to guide new owners through surveys, sea trials, registration, and documentation.
I love all boats and each one has its own quality. Though I would consider myself a traditionalist in boat design, I like what the new designs offer in comfort and ability.
My husband (of 30 years) and I live in Easton, Maryland. My husband is the rigging supervisor at Safe Harbor Oxford Boatyard and our daughter, having graduated from Washington College in 2020, is now teaching English as well as coaching the sailing team at the Gunston School in Centreville, Md. She has recently come on board as the Summer Sailing Director with the Tred Avon Yacht Club.
I am starting my 7th year as a broker with Brewer Yacht Sales and in addition to my office at Safe Harbor Zahniser’s in Solomon’s, Maryland I now have an office at Safe Harbor Oxford. This enables me to cover the territory from the Eastern Shore to Solomon’s Island and everything in between.
I look forward to speaking with you and sharing my passion for boats. Let me help you find the perfect yacht or support and guide you in the sale of your existing vessel!
