Description
The J35 is a high-performance cruiser originally designed for speed and comfort. Of all the great designs that J/Boats have offered, the J/35 stands out as a best-in-class winner. The J35 was first introduced in 1983 and it is “no exaggeration that new owners of varying experience and ability stepped aboard, raised the sails and began winning races”. With its light weight and long sailing length, uncomplicated rig, and sensible deck layout, the J/35 has a responsive yet forgiving nature over a wide range of conditions. GREAT SCOT a 1984 YANMAR 3GMD 20 hp and has always been professionally maintained. She is outfitted with a full set of sail inventory including 2 mainsails, 2 genoas, and a number of racing sails (inventory available). She is equipped with a VHF, a compass, NEXUS NX2 autopilot/ speed/wind meter, and a Raymarine autopilot, and a Garmin chartplotter/GPS.
Down below, her interior is spacious and warm, with a teak and holly sole, and 6’3” headroom, includes sleeping for 6, between the double forepeak berth, port and starboard settees, and two large quarter berths. A bi-fold teak table stows against the bulkhead when not in use. The Galley is compact with a stainless steel sink, 1 burner KENYON portable gas range, an ice box, and storage. There is a private head with a shower.

I'm Brandon Crigger a CPYB Yacht Broker specializing in the sale of pre-owned boats.
Brandon's deep connection with water is rooted in his beginnings, growing up in Michigan's Great Lakes Region, developing a passion for fishing and water sports at an early age. His career started in construction with a degree in Construction Management in Michigan, but his love for the ocean led him to Ft. Lauderdale in 2006, where he launched his career in the maritime industry. He earned his Master Scuba Diver status and a 100-ton USCG License, in Ft. Lauderdale, then set off on an 8-year global adventure aboard private Motor Yachts, clocking 150,000+ nautical miles, traversing Italy, Greece, Turkey, and the Bahamas and Caribbean.
He then headed to New England, where he met his wife Nicole and her dog Hani, and here he stayed! Before joining Merri-Mar, he spent 3 years as captain & crew with Coastal Discoveries in Newburyport. Brandon has been an integral member of the MMYB Team since 2016. His diverse and global maritime experience, combined with integrity and a genuine affinity for all things maritime, offers clients a deep understanding of what it takes to match their wish list with their dream boat. Brandon lives in Stratham NH with his wife Nicole, and two sons Chase and Cameron.
