The Trojan 400 Express has Carver's characteristic winged arch and luxurious cherry wood interior, plus the exhilaration and performance of a modified-V hull. Topside, sunbathers will enjoy the recessed foredeck sunpad and the spaciousness of the cockpit. With its U-shaped seating, table, sunlounge, the 400's cockpit provides the perfect package for an easy afternoon of entertaining. When the sun goes down, there are plenty of accommodations below. Forward, the master stateroom features a queen-sized berth and private access to the head. Amidships, the large dinette converts to a double berth. Aft, the U-shaped salon sofa also converts to a midcabin double berth with its own privacy curtain. John started his love for boats when he began racing on a Pearson Ensign with his father on Canandaigua Lake when he was 4. Later competing in offshore races on the great lakes while crewing aboard the Open 60 Trimaran and Trans Superior record holder (28hrs 38 mn) “Earth Voyager”. After touring extensively as a roadie for over 25 years and not being able to resist the pull of the great Gitche Gumee he settled in Duluth. John started at Barker’s Island Marina in 2007 working in the service department, eventually becoming the full time resident Yacht Broker. In his free time, he is the Primary Race Officer (PRO) for the Duluth Yacht Club.
