Description
In it's first year on the market, The Omikron OT-60 has been awarded Best of Boats in Berlin, European Powerboat of the Year at Boot Dusseldorf and World Yachts Trophy for Revelation of the Year. Expressing the belief that progress is seen with an eye to the past as well as the future, the OT–60 proposes a simpler vision of sustainability. The OT–60 heralds a renewed return to the traditional Eastern Mediterranean seagoing style. The perfect combination of the quiet, easygoing lifestyle of sailing and the convenience and space of a power yacht makes the journey as enjoyable as the destination with a very low fuel consumption.

Tait Yachts has been cultivating the perfect yachting relationships since 1982. Our boutique style yacht brokerage specializes in local and worldwide yacht sales, charters, new construction projects and private yacht management. Located on the waterfront in Sag Harbor, New York, the heart of the Hamptons, we have direct access to the only mega yacht port on eastern long island. This coupled with the steady growth of the playground to the rich and famous and the perfect second home location for Manhattan residents has enabled us to grow as strong as the yachting industry itself. Family owned and managed, we are committed to making the purchase, new construction, donation or yacht charter process, not only hassle free, but personal and pleasant.

Bruce was born and raised along California’s coast, between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. A formative stint living in Grenada during his late teens likely sparked his lifelong passion for the ocean, sailing, and the tropics. His early maritime career included captaining charter boats throughout the Caribbean, running whale-watching tours in Santa Barbara, and completing numerous offshore deliveries. These experiences eventually led him to Sag Harbor, where in 1982, Bruce founded Tait Yachts as a family-run brokerage. His daughter, Danielle joined the company in 1989 and now leads the company and its charter division. Bruce's work in yacht sales, commissioning, and management took him across the globe, and his energetic, hands-on approach helped build long-standing client relationships and strong industry connections. An avid racer, Bruce competed in prestigious regattas including Antigua Race Week, the Marion and Newport-Bermuda Races, Block Island Race Week, the Heineken Regatta, and Les Voiles de St. Tropez.
