Bob Rodgers began his yacht brokerage career in 1974 by creating and operating a yacht brokerage at Dodson Boat Yard in Stonington, CT.
In 1986 he founded a yacht brokerage office that revolved around importing Jonmeri Yachts of Finland. This led to a series of other European yacht imports to the present time: Leonardo Yachts; Latitude 46; X-Yachts of Denmark; Baltic Yachts of Finland, YYachts of Germany and Spirit Yachts of England.
To date, Bob has brought about a sale of thousands of yachts, from new construction to brokerage; from sailing to motor yachts up to 150’ length.
He has also completed 17 Newport Bermuda Races, 25 Heineken Regattas, 2 Gotland Runts, a trans-Atlantic and countless other inshore and offshore passages. He maintains, races, and cruises a series sailing yachts named RINGLE, currently an X-Yachts 4.3.
