Description
"Lady Grace" is a 38 WESMAC finished by MAINELY BOATS in Cushing Maine. She is a 2022 model with a solid fiberglass hull that was launched in the Spring of 2023. "Lady Grace" is powered with a Cummins QSL9 (450HP) (320 Hours as of 5/20/2024). She has engine warranty until 5/4/2025 or 500 hours (whichever comes first). A trolling Valve allows for slow operation for trolling Striped Bass and Bluefin Tuna.
"Lady Grace" was built as a Charter Boat, which is reflected in the design of her well thoughtout, practical and functional, systems. This is the second WESMAC built by this knowledgable owner who has charter fished for roughly 40 years.
Her spacious cockpit has a livewell in the stern and several flush mounted rod holders in the gunwales. There are large scuppers and access to the bilge is through two large Freeman hatches fore and aft. An aft station with hydraulic pot hauler is to starboard, behind the main bulkhead, and a Day Head (with cockpit access only) is to port. Access to the wheelhouse is through a large watertight door. The cockpit also has two wash down hoses, one powered by a hydraulic pump and the other by a DC powered 3800 GPH Rule pump.
The Wheelhouse has seating to port and starboard and her large windows provide good visibility and natural light. The well thought out electronics placement can be seen from the aft cockpit station. The wheelhouse is equipped with heat for the colder months.
As you step down to the cabin, the electronics panel is to starboard and there is a utility closet on the starboard side which provides access to the fuel filter and the systems behind the helm and electronics panel. The crew head is to port. Moving forward, there are counter spaces to port and starboard with electrical outlets and storage. A V-berth with storage is just ahead.

As a child, my spring and fall weekends were spent with my father and brothers scraping and painting and doing whatever it took to get the families wooden boats ready for the next season. I have channeled that passion into a career as a yacht broker and never dreamed of doing anything else. Looking back, I started cleaning and detailing boats in high school. I went on to get my 100 ton Captain’s license in my early 20’s, then went to work for a marine electronics company. I was the first outside sales Rep. for Regulator Marine, then spent the next 10 years as a Captain of custom sport fishing boats from 58’ to 80’. My travels took me from New England to Florida, the Bahamas, Mexico and everywhere in between. I began my career as a yacht broker for Oyster Harbors Marine on Cape Cod in 2005, then moved back home to Long Island, NY where I started East Island Yacht Sales in 2013.
