About
Yacht Broker's Perspective
In summer 2023, Las De Dah was hauled out and received extensive mechanical services while in the yard. The engines were removed from the compartments and sent to the Volvo Mechanics shop for major maintenance. While the engines were out, her Engine Compartments and engines were fully refurbished. This included New Turbos, Aftercoolers, Hoses, Strainers, Dripless Seals and more (mechanical work order available).
All recommended engine services were performed. Compression was tested and confirmed to be within proper specifications. Since completion of the work, the engines have only seen minimal use. Current engine hours reflect only an estimated 3–5 additional hours beyond the service with routine start-ups to bring to temperature, circulate fluids and maintain.
