Tahu’a is a 2020 Neel 45 Evolution, a performance cruising trimaran for sailors who refuse to choose between speed and comfort. Designed for extended offshore passagemaking, she combines the upwind efficiency and sailing purity of a monohull with the stability and living space of a catamaran.
At the helm, Tahu’a offers superb responsiveness and control. The central hull delivers excellent upwind ability with precise feel, while the outer floats provide stability and power to carry ample sail area with confidence. Owners consistently report 200–220 nautical miles per day, with bursts of 15–18 knots in moderate breeze. She tracks well, accelerates quickly and maintains high averages without compromising safety or comfort.
The trimaran platform ensures natural seaworthiness. Reduced pitching and gentle heel angles create a predictable motion offshore, easing crew fatigue.
