Bill started boating at the age of five, and it has been a love of boats ever since. He sold and repaired small boats before starting his career working on the manufacturing side of yachts, which lasted 15 years.
During that time, he worked with many of the icons in the industry, Vince and Dick Lazzara, Bill Healey, and Pat Healey of Viking. At Viking Yachts, he helped introduce Princess Yachts to the United States as Viking sport cruiser. He was head of warranty, service, and boat shows at the Viking Yacht Company. He has also been the holder of a captain's license for over 25 years.
In 1999, Bill put together his last boat show for Viking Yachts and started his career with Galati Yacht Sales, at that show. He has been with Galati Yacht Sales for over 21 years and is still a lover of all kinds of boats and the water. His goal is to help people enjoy what he loves — boating.
