Norm brings a wealth of sailing and powerboat experience accumulated over a lifetime. He has actively sailed and raced in numerous locations around the globe, showcasing his passion and commitment to the sport. Since relocating to St. Pete 54 years ago, Norm has been deeply immersed in the marine industry. His professional journey includes ownership of a major OEM marine canvas and cushion manufacturing business. He has also played significant roles in both new boat and used boat sales in power and sail as well as boat commissioning. Norm holds a 200 Ton Masters License, reflecting his high level of maritime competency. With over 40 years of experience as both a charter captain and delivery captain on yachts up to 95 feet in length, he brings exceptional expertise to the field. Additionally, he has spent 15 years as an ASA sailing instructor and certified powerboat instructor, sharing his knowledge and skills with aspiring sailors and powerboaters. For the past 15 years, Norm has been a dedicated yacht broker. He is committed to assisting clients in finding the ideal yacht tailored to their next adventure on the water. Beyond his professional endeavors, Norm enjoys restoring boats—especially wooden vessels—and creating projects in his well-equipped workshop. He is also known for his excellent culinary skills.
