Gary has been an avid boater for years, having owned his first boat in his teens. He owned ski boats for years, then purchased a go fast Mirage. In mid-2000 Gary and his wife Patty purchased a Well Craft 36’ Martinque and named it Cancun Girl. After several years they sold Cancun Girl and purchased a 40’ Mainship Motor Yacht in Florida, which they named Sol Mates. They brought it back to Kemah in 2009, where they spent many years on the water enjoying it. They purchased a 50 Viking Motor Yacht in 2014, which they now spend most of their weekends aboard. Gary has always been involved in many activities and joined Waterford Yacht Club in 2007, served as Fleet Captain in 2010 and then as Commodore in 2014 and again in 2015. Gary and Patty have recently joined Lakewood Yacht Club and plan on continuing to enjoy the water and the Yacht club activities. Gary semi-retired in early 2000, but continues to stay involved in several businesses. After talking with Doug Hughes, who he has known for many years, he decided to join Sea Lake Yachts as a Broker. He is looking forward to working with friends and new clients offering many years of yachting experience to new and previous boat owners. If you are buying, selling or just looking to get involved in boating, give Gary a call.
