Description
The Beneteau Oceanis 41.1 is generally well-regarded as a comfortable and easy-to-sail cruiser with a spacious interior and large cockpit. It features a modern design with a setback rig for balanced performance and a semi-chine hull for stability, making it a good choice for cruising couples or families. Positive aspects include a large hydraulic swim platform, twin helm stations, and an uncluttered cockpit thanks to the arch-mounted mainsheet. Total $100,000 refit completed in 2023–24 with Beneteau OEM equipment from the Annapolis warehouse and all top-level, industry-leading branded systems acquired in 2021–22 for a two-year refit, including electronics, electrical systems, spars, standing rigging, deck canvas (bimini, sail cover), sails, and soft furnishings/upholstery inside and out; vessel shows as new.

Owners Comments and Boat History
Things that need attention:
Propane pressure regulator needs to be installed ($200). Salon curtains sewn if you want them I have fabric that matches cockpit cushions.
Insect screens for some of the hatches. Running light on mast. Everything else is functional and works as designed. I have extensive manuals, brochures, etc on the equipment installed in 3 ring binders. Liferaft is out of date so needs inspection and/or replacement. Delaware registration is good thru 12/31/2025.
Orion was stored on land in The BVI's when Irma Struck. She lost her rig, suffered only superficial scraping from Flying debris now professionally filled faired polished out by top level Marine Trades in St Maarten. Boat basically has not been used since refit. After I purchased her I replaced and upgraded whatever was needed. Where possible I purchased from Beneteau out of Annapolis warehouse. Lots of items were upgraded to beyond Industry standards
Electronics, 110 Volt replaced orig. 220 VOLT, Victron Inverter, Solar, additional 12 volt circuits, Radios, additional pumps, oversize bimini, helm cover, cockpit table cover, liferaft cover, are all upgrades beyond Industry standard.
