Description
LADY BELLA WALKTHROUGH
COCKPIT WITH HARDTOP ENCLOSURE
Lady Bella’s spacious cockpit was recently transformed with an incredibly designed and well-built hardtop enclosure, featuring three hatches to enjoy the sea breeze, large tinted double pane safety glass windows, and a fixed glass port above the helm station for viewing the sails. To be fully enclosed, her Phifertex Full Sun Screens AND Stamoid/Vinyl enclosure can easily do the job! The ceiling of the enclosure is a stunning sea glass blue, as if reflecting the Bahamian waters, where “Lady Bella” spent much of her time in the recent past. Don't miss the immersive tour past the photo section of this listing!
INTERIOR HIGHLIGHTS
Stepping down the companionway of Lady Bella, her incredible interior welcomes you with stunning varnished teak carpentry throughout, from the solid teak cabin soles to dreamy carvings of sailing ships and palm trees accenting the doors. It's worth noting that in every cabin Hardin perfected what most designers can’t grasp even today-that is luxuriously spacious living quarters AND an unbelievable amount of storage!
MAIN SALON
Lady Bella’s accommodating Salon is spacious and warm. To starboard is the L shaped dinette seating area which comfortably seats up to 8 people. The table is solid teak with drop down leaves. Storage is under and behind the dinette cushions and there is beautiful cabinetry behind the seating area as well.
GALLEY
To port of the Companionway, the Galley is well thought out and efficient, with plenty of counter space, storage, and a convenient pull-out drawer by the sink that allows for a U shape space for stability while prepping meals in rough seas.
AFT HALLWAY
Moving aft from the galley on the port side there is a hallway with two large fridge and freezer boxes built into a long counter, as well as the nav station and 3 doors to access the engine and generator.
MASTER STATEROOM
The hallway leads you aft to the Master Stateroom, featuring an athwartship queen size bed, incredible storage (hanging lockers, shelves, drawers, space under the berth), and beautifully crafted aft windows above the bed. A well-lit vanity is a nice addition. Two large overhead hatches allow a wonderful flow of breeze into the cabin.
AFT FULL HEAD
This full head to starboard can be accessed both from the Salon and the Master Stateroom. There are two ports for ventilation as well as two doors for starboard engine access. This head has a separate shower, marble counters, and varnished teak throughout.
MID-SALON
Moving forward from the main Salon is the lower-level Mid-Salon with sleeping arrangements. To port there are two spacious settee berths, and both pull out to make a double berth. There is ample storage under both berths with beautiful cabinetry. To starboard there is more beautiful cabinetry and a counter that can be used for a workspace and more.
FORWARD HEAD
The starboard cabinetry in the Mid Salon flows into a Half Head with a sliding door. There is a Lavac Head, sink with a foot pedal, 2 ports for ventilation, and lots of cabinetry and storage space.
V-BERTH
Forward towards the bow there is a spacious V-Berth with a beautifully carved door for privacy. There are lockers and shelves on both sides and a hatch large enough to pass sails through. V-berth cushions are covered in burgundy sunbrella, and underneath them is even more storage. The anchor locker is just forward of the V-Berths with great access via double doors towards the bow.

Carolyn grew up living aboard her family’s 47’ GulfStar Sailmaster, cruising up and down the East Coast and through the Bahamas for nearly twenty years. Shew crewed on various boats, detailed boats, and worked at a prominent marina in St. Augustine, FL, while working her way through college. She worked her way up to management at the marina and was a loyal employee for over 15 years. Talking to the boaters of all types as they transited the ICW and stopped at the marina, was one of the highlights of her job, but they got to take off and head to places more tropical while she was stuck in St. Augustine.
Carolyn is a fine arts graduate from Flagler College, an artist, yogi, and an avid surfer and guitar player. She travels the world to various surfing destinations whenever she can and enjoys traveling solo.
After the marina, Carolyn worked for a local recruiting firm and then Solar Stik as an administrative assistant. She has also taught yoga at various venues around St. Augustine. She brings her organizational and logistical skills with her to Sunshine Cruising Yachts, and is very excited to be working on the water again. She lives with her husband and two boys as well as various animals (mainly cats and guinea pigs) in St. Augustine.
Be careful! Her enthusiasm is contagious!
, `testimonial` ="Carolyn is the boat broker to work with!
My wife and I used her to sell our 38ft sailboat and she was awesome to work with. We had the boat in Georgia while we lived in Idaho and she was located in Florida and she went out of her way to help when things needed to get done on the boat.
I would recommend her to absolutely anyone that is looking to sell or buy a boat. An absolute pleasure to work with
