Description
"Second Chance" a 1986 Post 46 is a two-owner boat that has had great care by both dedicated owners. She has the classic lines of a blue water fishing boat, but her design features make her economical to operate both in hull form and engines. Her aft section is tapering fairly strongly at the stern with a pronounced vertical flare at the sides. A wide boat designed for a narrow water line and low wetted surface area. She's stable in a following sea. If Post is notable for anything, it is that they have achieved the right mix of quality and economy.

Thirty-six years of business experience taught that, above all, listening to client's needs is paramount. Selling or buying, what are your goals related to boating? Dave’s listening! Dave built his first boat as a teenager. After engineering school, he put in hundreds of hours sailing his Hobie Cat 16 on the Chesapeake Bay and off the North Carolina beaches & sounds. He learned to sail larger boats in his 20’s on the Chesapeake chartering with friends, then the Caribbean, the Med, racing on the Great Lakes & Delaware Rivers, while studying and drinking in all things nautical. Dave has owned both power and sail and has maintained, upgraded and sailed a blue water cruiser for years. He’s a USCG Captain candidate, and currently living on the water in North Carolina, when not aboard. Put Dave’s knowledge & passion to work for you!
