Accommodations
Descending the companionway, the raised main salon offers two large settees, a dining table, and a navigation station to starboard. To port, the passageway galley leads aft to the spacious owner's stateroom, which features a center-line queen berth and an en-suite head with a separate shower stall. Moving forward, a port passageway provides a custom desk with a removable stool, which can also be utilized in the main salon for extra seating. The forward V-berth cabin has adjacent access to the day head/wet head. Callahan can comfortably sleep six people across its two cabins and the convertible settee in the main salon and provides plentiful storage throughout.
The interior of Callahan boasts a bright and comfortable main salon, distinguished by varnished teak joinery, large fixed windows, and various opening portlights and hatches. Construction
The Taswell 44 hull is constructed of hand laid GRP with vinylester resin for superior moisture resistance and both mat and roving fabrics. She's a solid and stiff boat with numerous longitudinal stringers. The superior hull to deck joint is both mechanically and chemically bonded with 5200 and 3/8" stainless steel bolts on 8" centers. The deck has a sandwich construction with 1/2" end grain balsa core. In areas of high stress and heavy loads solid construction and backing plates have been utilized.

Corinna grew up sailing and windsurfing on lakes in Germany, where she was an member of her local sailing club, racing Optimists and 420s.
