Interior
The 2006 57 Ocean HOOK'EM DAN O features a spectacular 3 stateroom 3 head interior layout. Her main deck level is your standard sportfish arrangement with the main salon, galley and dinette all socially integrated. This space on the 57 Ocean feels much larger than most. Her salon soft goods have been updated and have a nautical theme. To port is an updated seating arrangement with a large brown L shaped ultra leather sofa and chair with a high gloss expanding teak coffee table. Also, on the fwd corner between the sofa and chair is a high gloss end cap tabletop that lifts to reveal massive storage beneath. Across from the seating area to stbd is a large flat screen TV, Ice maker and the ship’s electrical panel.
The flooring is a decorative and durable faux teak laminate. The Interior woodwork is in great shape throughout. A small step up separates the salon from the galley and dinette.
The galley features granite countertops with refrigerator and freezer drawers below, Ample storage with additional overhead cabinets, a deep SS sink, microwave and electric cook top. Across from the galley is the raised dinette. She has versatile large bench seating and a high gloss teak table for informal dining, card games, computer work or any number of activities.
Between the galley and the dinette is the stairway leading down to the lower accommodations. The layout below is a spacious, best in class 3/3.
At the base of the stairs immediately to port is the first guest stateroom. Unlike most vessels her size this room is NOT a bunk bed arrangement. The 2006 Ocean Yacht 57' Super Sport HOOK'EM DAN O features much preferred side by side split berths. The two berths are separated by an elevated nightstand with storage inside. This stateroom also has additional overheard storage cabinets above each berth and flatscreen TV.
Directly across the hall is the first of three full heads. This head would double as the guest stateroom head and the day head because of her direct hallway access.
All the way forward on HOOK'EM DAN O we have a very unique VIP stateroom arrangement. Typically, on other brands, you will have either a V berth arrangement or a raised smaller island berth. The space is far better utilized on the 57 Ocean with a “ground level” larger queen berth turned sideways, and the head moved into the forepeak of the vessel. This allows for much more space and storage in addition to the larger berth.
All the way aft is the lower FULL BEAM master stateroom. It is unheard of for a vessel this size to offer a full beam master stateroom aft. This is a feature typically seen on MUCH larger vessels. She also features a full en suite head. This is the cherry on top of the innovative interior layout aboard the 2006 57 Ocean Yacht HOOK'EM DAN O. Additional master stateroom highlights include….
- King-size walk around island berth
- Double hanging locker port side
- Port side lower storage drawers
- Port side elevated storage cabinets
- Additional storage drawers on fwd bulkhead
- Large flatscreen TV on fwd bulkhead
- Stbd side en suite private head
Flybridge
The Flybridge aboard the 2006 57 Ocean Yacht HOOK'EM DAN O is absolutely massive! She has a faux teak laminate sole and fully equipped helm. Highlights include…
- Matching helm and companion high gloss teak pedestal chairs with recovered brown ultra leather cushions and trim.
- Pod style helm with single lever palm beach controls
- Bow thruster
- Mia Epoch US 6 electric teaser reels
- Partially updated electronics package including (3) multi-function GARMIN displays, 8000 series, 7612 and 7215 for chart plotter, radar and sonar functions, GARMIN Auto Pilot, 2 ICOM VHF radios
- Fusion stereo
- Updated 3-sided Isinglass enclosure
- MTU/DD electronic controls

Engine Room
HOOK'EM DAN O is powered by factory optional upgraded MTU 12V 2000 series engines with 1500hp each. Because of her power package and hull design she is capable of cruising speeds in excess of 30 knots and also low load, high efficiency, extended range cruise speeds in the mid to upper 20’s. Her original generator was replaced with a brand new 18KW Phasor gen set in the early 2020s and has under 1000 hours.

For six months, they traveled the Caribbean, visiting virtually every Caribbean island, from St. Thomas to the Grenadines, and then spent three months in the Bahamas, competing in the Bahamas Billfish Championships.
He went on to run a few private sportfish vessels before becoming the fleet captain for Lazzara Yachts. Mike’s responsibilities there included all new factory yacht deliveries from 68 to 116', captain and crew orientations, offshore closings, and brokerage fleet maintenance. After five years, he accepted a position as a yacht broker with MarineMax. His boat-brand specialties were Hatteras and Cabo Yachts, but he also dealt with brokerage vessels of all shapes and sizes.
