Accommodations
Interior Layout
Several steps lead down into the spacious and inviting salon. Across the stern, there is an L-shaped lounge that converts to a sleeper for overnight guests, plus an entertainment center and six unique opening vertical hull ports that flood the area with natural light and cool breezes. Additionally, there is a table that folds from a triangle to a small square when needed.
The galley is to starboard, featuring a large countertop with double sink, double cooktop and many cabinets above. A microwave/convection oven is below the countertop with more storage and drawers next to it. A large refrigerator/freezer is just forward of the counter.
Across from the galley is an entertainment center with large screen television and sound system with a countertop/bar and two bar stools.
This model has one head with entry from either the salon or the forward master cabin. The full head has a separating shower door, which keeps the rest of the head from getting wet.

A large hinged locker has room for life jackets, extra lines and large items across the center of the stern while another hatch keeps the power, cable and telephone connects dry. A handy swim ladder is just before the port side walkthrough which leads you into a huge entertainment space with bench seating wrapping from the stern around to the starboard half of the lower cockpit. A wet bar is positioned next to the seating on the starboard side with sink, prep top and refrigerator with ice maker below. When you need to access the engines, the cockpit area lifts up on twin electric lifts for easy maintenance on the twin Yanmars.

Gary has been an avid boater for years, having owned his first boat in his teens. He owned ski boats for years, then purchased a go fast Mirage. In mid-2000 Gary and his wife Patty purchased a Well Craft 36’ Martinque and named it Cancun Girl. After several years they sold Cancun Girl and purchased a 40’ Mainship Motor Yacht in Florida, which they named Sol Mates. They brought it back to Kemah in 2009, where they spent many years on the water enjoying it. They purchased a 50 Viking Motor Yacht in 2014, which they now spend most of their weekends aboard. Gary has always been involved in many activities and joined Waterford Yacht Club in 2007, served as Fleet Captain in 2010 and then as Commodore in 2014 and again in 2015. Gary and Patty have recently joined Lakewood Yacht Club and plan on continuing to enjoy the water and the Yacht club activities. Gary semi-retired in early 2000, but continues to stay involved in several businesses. After talking with Doug Hughes, who he has known for many years, he decided to join Sea Lake Yachts as a Broker. He is looking forward to working with friends and new clients offering many years of yachting experience to new and previous boat owners. If you are buying, selling or just looking to get involved in boating, give Gary a call.
