"Summertime Lady", the Hatteras 70 Extended Deckhouse Motor Yacht, has a more modern flybridge and superstructure profile than her predecessor, as well as a more contemporary galley-up interior. The pilothouse of the EDMY is set further forward on the foredeck, a feature that results in a considerable enlarged main salon as well as improved helm visibility. The elaborate crew quarters forward have been enlarged as well, with separate staterooms for a captain and two mates, Full-beam Master and two VIP Suits are located aft. The expansive deckhouse salon of the EDMY gives this yacht entertaining potential on a grand scale. The semi-enclosed aft deck is equally wide-open and roomy with wing doors that open onto broad, partially sheltered side decks. Twin 12V71TI diesels will cruise the Hatteras 70 Extended Deckhouse MY around 14 knots and provide a top speed of 18 knots.
