ACCOMMODATIONS
One of the notable design highlights of the 34z is the nearly seamless transition between the different guest areas. The aft cockpit merges with the indoor/outdoor bridge on a single level, then the interior cabin is easily access via a shallow companionway. Communication and access is easy between the galley and the helm. The bridge deck features a hard top, front/side windows, twin adjustable helm and companion seats, and bench seats aft each side for seating 6-8 guests under cover.
The interior is nicely finished with solid cherry joinerwork including paneled cabinets, drawer fronts, hull ceiling and trim throughout. The cabin floor soles are made from teak and holly (replaced 2024), and the overheads are soft padded panels.
There is a galley to port which features a large Corian countertop, flush stainless sink with removable cover, microwave, 12-volt Seafrost fridge/freezer drawer, a Princess single burner ceramic cooktop, and ample storage with several drawers and cabinets. The fresh water is filtered through a Seagull water purifier, and there is plenty of space for countertop appliances like a toaster oven, blender etc.
Opposite the galley is a fully enclosed head with a Vacuflush toilet (rebuilt 2024), stainless vanity sink, and shower with sump pump. There are several storage lockers and an opening port for light and ventilation.
Further forward there is a full beam U-shaped bench seating area which is large enough to accommodate eight guests. There is a cocktail table in the middle with flip-out leaves to expand the square footage. Storage includes open fiddled shelves outboard each side and a bureau to starboard with storage locker above. There is a large opening deck hatch and two opening hull ports to keep the space light and airy.
