Raised on the West Coast with the ocean in her heart, Kami found her way to Colorado’s snowy peaks. When the snow melted, she lived on the water, whether a mountain lake or the cold winding rivers. She spent time white water rafting, water skiing, wake surfing, and sailing a small monohull with friends and family. Those years shaped her, and now two of her three kids work on the water as adults, carrying that love forward. The water has always been her element.
She never imagined leaving Colorado, but after 40 years, the sea was calling, and for the past five years, she lived aboard a catamaran, navigating the East Coast and the Caribbean’s turquoise waters. Those years taught her the joy and freedom of the cruising life. Now rooted in Florida, she wants to share that passion, drawing on her liveaboard days to connect with others dreaming of life on the water.
