Description
Offshore-Ready Racer/Cruiser | Proven Passage Maker | Thoughtfully Refit
Redshift is a classic Newport 41S designed by C&C Design and built by Capital Yachts Corp as a true racer/cruiser. Fast, balanced, and surprisingly comfortable in big seas, she blends high-performance sailing characteristics with a warm, teak-rich interior well suited for extended cruising or living aboard.
Over the last several years, Redshift has been extensively refit for offshore passagemaking and self-sufficient cruising. With a Sailomat wind vane, new Raymarine EV200 autopilot, solar power, AIS, modern refrigeration, and a 2000W inverter, she is genuinely ready to go places — safely and comfortably.
Her home port is Long Island Sound, and she has cruised extensively up and down the U.S. East Coast from Florida to Martha’s Vineyard, including a single-handed 1,500-nautical-mile passage from New York to the U.S. Virgin Islands in fall conditions.
She is the third owner and comes with the original owner’s manual.
