Description
Step aboard this 2001 Carver 356 Motor Yacht and enjoy a cruising lifestyle designed around space, comfort, and easy days on the water. Known for its wide beam and thoughtful aft-cabin layout, the 356 offers the kind of interior volume and livability that makes weekends turn into long stays-and long stays feel effortless.
The private aft cabin creates a true owner’s retreat, while the open salon and well-appointed galley make entertaining or relaxing aboard feel natural and unconfined. Large windows throughout bring in abundant natural light, giving the interior a bright, welcoming feel whether you’re dockside or underway.
On deck, the stable modified V-hull provides a smooth, confident ride, while the generous beam delivers excellent stability at rest-perfect for evenings at anchor, marina living, or hosting friends. Bow and stern thrusters with remote control make docking and close-quarters maneuvering remarkably easy, adding confidence in tight marinas or challenging conditions. A stern-mounted davit strong enough to handle a jet ski adds another layer of fun and convenience, making it simple to bring your water toys along for the adventure.
With a shallow 3’3” draft and manageable ~16’ bridge clearance, this yacht is ideally suited for coastal cruising and ICW adventures. Ample tankage, solid fiberglass construction, and Carver’s well-known reputation for comfort and practicality make the 356 an excellent choice for those seeking a relaxed cruising lifestyle, extended weekends aboard, or a capable liveaboard with classic lines and proven design.
Whether you’re chasing sunsets, exploring new waterways, or simply enjoying life at the dock, this Carver 356 is ready to support the journey.

Nick has always been a fan of all things nautical! When his wife planned a surprise sunset sail for his 30th birthday he had no idea just how much he would fall in love with sailboats and being on the water. With a degree in mechanical engineering, Nick used his expertise to begin researching the perfect boat to start his sailing adventures. Since then (4 boats later) he finally has a gorgeous liveaboard sailboat that he sadly only gets to enjoy part time as he travels frequently between the Florida, South Carolina, and North Carolina markets.
Nick has over 20 years of experience in boating that began with driving a boat for the fire department for the search and rescue squad. From there he obtained his PADI certification as Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) in 2019, and has since earned his Captain’s license. He has assisted several friends as additional crew while transporting their boats, has spent countless hours over the course of several years researching sailboats for his personal purchases, and is always there to answer questions whenever someone needs a hand for their boat!
Research is Nick’s super power! When it comes to finding the absolute right fit for someone whether it’s a vacation (he owns a travel agency too!), car, boat or basically anything hobby worthy he is your man. Rest assured he will make sure that no stone is left unturned when it comes to taking care of his clients. His commitment to exceeding his clients expectations is what has earned him repeat business year after year.
He is an admitted YouTube sailing channel junkie, lover of all things rum, and in his spare time is always on the lookout for a good boat, car, or destination for his next adventure. Nick’s main focus is to ensure that his clients meet their goals. Whether you’re looking to buy or sell he will manage every step effectively and make sure that his clients have fun in the process! After all, you can’t buy happiness but you can buy a boat…and that’s pretty much the same thing.
