The Midwest has a strong presence in South West Florida with a mix of local and seasonal residence all there to enjoy the sunshine and ocean breeze. This is one of the many reasons we opened an office on 5th Avenue in Downtown Naples. Deepwater access from Naples Bay to the Gulf of Mexico makes getting to the fishing grounds easy as well as immediate access to the intracoastal waterway. Cruise all day long and make your way north to Ft. Myers or head south to Marco Island and the Florida Keys. If you want to stay local, there are amazing beaches, sand bars and waterfront dining. The short commute across Alligator Alley to Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach and Miami makes is easy for us to service our customers throughout the region.

Matt grew up boating in Michigan and Florida. Those experiences fueled his lifelong passion for the marine world. While in high school and college, he worked at a local marina in sales and service and as a captain. Matt also worked on commercial ships during his time at the Great Lakes Marine Academy. He ended up pursuing a degree in Naval Architecture at the University of Michigan.
With degree in hand and his enthusiasm for water sports, Matt landed a job with Mastercraft Boat Company. He was on the design team as a Naval Architect and earned quite a few design patents.
The last five years Matt spent with HCB Yachts, and he was a crucial part in the design and success of the 65 Estrella. He built relationships with every customer and did what it took to make sure they had the best experience possible. This, along with his sales and product knowledge earned him an unbelievable reputation in the marine industry.
Matt has extensive experience captaining in the Great Lakes, Florida and Caribbean. He also spent time running yachts in the Mediterranean and Middle East. Matt’s knowledge and experience in the marine industry gives him the opportunity to serve his clients in a unique way. This approach continues to foster his long lasting relationships.
