Full Details
Hunter's hallmark of innovation coupled with over 25 years of experience results in a safe, easy-to-sail, and comfortable boat, making the Hunter 326 the most advanced mid-size cruiser on the market today. A creative layout boasts two private staterooms with solid privacy bulkheads, not just curtains. A spacious, well-designed salon abounds with plenty of seating and storage. The teak-trimmed galley is complete right down to the dishware and offers a stove and microwave oven, along with an insulated icebox or optional refrigerator / freezer. Aft is a large head complemented with a Corian-topped vanity with storage and full shower. Topside, there's a wealth of innovations and features normally found on much larger boats. The rig, for instance, is a powerful B&R backstayless rig that allows easier sail handling with the large roach main and small jib. Hunter has even reduced the weight aloft by utilizing strategically placed mast struts and smaller mast sections. This ensures less pitching and rolling and a stronger rig. Hunter has also included its signature stainless steel arch that keeps the boom up and clear of the crew as well as keeping the cockpit clear of the mainsheet and traveler. The arch also makes a great attachment for the optional bimini and allows for sturdy handholds moving around the large cockpit. Even the console is custom which allows for electronics, drinkholders, storage and a pair of flip-up tables.
This shoal draft wing keel boat is clean and ready to go. She has a very large cockpit with full cushions and lots of seating. She is very well equipped with items you would normally see on larger vessels. Here are just a few items.
• New In Mast Furling Main Sail
- Furling Jib Sail
- Walk Through Transom to Swim Platform
- Hot & Cold Shower at Swim Platform
- Large Cockpit with Full Cushions
- Yanmar Diesel
Accommodations
As you step on the boat and into the large cockpit with lots of seating and storage, you will notice the walk through transom to the swim platform for easy boarding from the dingy or the water. Moving forward to port is the head and then the main salon with ample seating and a table that will drop down and make more sleeping areas. Moving forward to the forward stateroom there is room for 2 or more.

Joe has been around boating since he was 12 years old when he spent summers on his grandfather’s boat in Rhode Island. He is a true hands-on boater, performing all repairs and replacements on his five boats. Twenty-two years ago, he bought a 30’ Sonic which he completely rebuilt and won the Around Long Island offshore marathon race in 2010. Since then, Joe and his wife, Jen, have added a 45’ Wellcraft Excalibur, 41’ Apache, 12’ Mini Hawk and finally slowing down a bit, a liveaboard 52’ Jefferson. Most of Joe’s time on the water was spent navigating the waters of Long Island, Block Island, Newport with some jaunts to Key West and sailing in the BVI. After a 37-year career in the HVAC, plumbing, apartment rental and remodeling industries, where he ran his own business, they have moved to SW Florida with no intention of retiring. Joe has decided his “second act” will be to follow his passion, the boating industry. With his knowledge of sales that he learned while running his own businesses and the experiences from years of boating, Joe will be an immense help for you to find the perfect boat or yacht that fit your needs.
