Here's Andante, a classic cruiser from 1990. Built by Caliber, in Florida, she's a great choice for those hoping to cruise South (as she's done many times), North to lovely waters, or actively sail on the weekends close to home.
She has a great layout with two heads and two very separate cabins, a great galley, air conditioning at the dock, and beautiful teak interior. She has a separate nav station and lots of grab rails for safety, as well as tons of storage for those longer trips.
Her headroom is notable at 6'5" and her owner's cabin features a large pullman style berth with storage underneath, as well as a very private head for the master cabin that has a separate stall shower. The aft cabin berth is also queen sized with storage underneath. All things that add to the success of a comfortable, well respected and loved cruiser.
Andante's owner has enjoyed her for the last 16 years. Except for the winters spent in the Bahamas, she has been hauled every winter during his ownership. She has been bottom painted, oil changed regularly, filters changed and impeller changed every year. She has been a huge part of his life, and he maintained and upgraded as he should.

Accommodations
The layout of Andante allows for comfort and safety.
The Master Stateroom is forward, with a private head in the peak that actually has a separate stall shower, sink, and marine head with it's own holding tank. There is large, double pullman berth to port with storage underneath, shelving alongside and a book shelf at the foot. There is a cedar lined hanging locker and shelf storage, standing vanity with custom storage cabinet beneath and cabinet above.
Next is the Main Saloon that is well lit and ventilated. There are facing settees, a table that has an extendable leaf and can fold up against the bulkhead, 6'5" headroom, and shelves behind the settees as well as storage beneath on the port side.
To starboard of the companionway is the guest/day head and to port is the galley. I love this placement, because when passage making you can come down the companionway, grab a cup of coffee, and hit the head, all without traveling the length of the boat. The nav station is aft of the galley, and the entrance to the aft cabin with large quarterberth is aft of the head to starboard.
It's a great layout that also ventilates well when at anchor. The ports are stainless steel and the overhead hatches in Andante have always been covered, keeping the hatches in good condition.
Both heads have hot and cold showers, stainless steel sinks, marine heads with their own holding tanks, cabinets and teak framed mirrors.

Michele started her career in January 1987 by developing the brokerage division of Gratitude Yachting Center. This followed a career of teaching special-needs children for more than 18 years. Michele’s summers during her teaching days were spent working with a charter company and sailing school located on the Chesapeake, and her years there gave her the opportunity to sail many different designs. She also handled the provisioning for these charters and owned the Galley Elf, a catering business. The Galley Elf eventually introduced her to the gang at Gratitude when she catered their Island Packet Rendezvous and the rest was history.
