KVH antenna
A Direct TV dish antenna feeding the TV in the salon. Cost is about $100/month depending on what service you sign up for. It can be powered by from the boat's installed generator or the Solar battery/generator circuits. This system is four years old and works very well.
Solar battery system
There are two independent 120Vac 3,600 watt solar battery storage circuits installed separate from the boat's electrical system circuits. Each circuit has electrical outlet boxes installed in the galley and salon areas to feed 120V refrigeration, small appliances and TVG loads when mooring/anchoring off the grid. One solar battery storage circuit is supported by three 200 watt panels mounted aft on an aluminum arch over the inflatable dinghy davits. The second solar battery storage circuit is fed from four 200 watt solar panels mounted on an additional aluminum arch the aft stateroom. The 3600 watt solar storage battery/inverter/charger controller are self contained ECOFLOW 3600 watt units that are two years old. Each ECOFLOW unit is located in the main stateroom with digital displays showing output and charging status with 120V and 12V plugs on the front of their panels to support main stateroom electrical loads like clocks, phone and computer chargers. These two self-contained solar battery/generators make no fumes, noise or impact to the stateroom atmosphere.
Electric dinghy davit system
There is a 12V electrical dinghy davit lift system installed on the stern. The inflatable dinghy travels up and down bypassing the boat's swim platform allowing the 10' Zodiac RIB with it's 20hp electric start Toshiba outboard to be lifted up and down electrically utilizing installed independent port and startboard pushbutton control switches (allowing angling of the dinghy for drainage and cleaning). The lift motors are powered by independent 12V AMG batteries.

With a life-long passion for boats and the water much of what I've done in life has in one way or another involved boats. As a youngster, my family owned several boats which we kept in Branford, CT at the Indian Neck Yacht Club. After high school, I spent 12 years in the U.S. Coast Guard including 18 months in Alaska before returning to CT where I became certified as coxswain of Coast Guard search and rescue boats.
After my Coast Guard service, I worked for 10 years in the wholesale marine equipment business where I supplied boatyards and marine dealers throughout Connecticut.
In 1983 I began selling new boats and have worked for two reputable Connecticut dealerships; 14 years at Milford Boat Works selling new Mako, Pursuit, Phoenix, Black Watch, Cape Dory, and North Coast powerboats plus O'Day, Cal, Pearson and Freedom sailboats. Then 14 years at Petzold's Marine selling new Sabre, Back Cove, Silverton, Mainship, Luhrs, Egg Harbor and Ocean powerboats. I now have a long, successful history of selling quality new boats.
In 2013, after 30 years of selling new boats I was ready for a change. I decided to concentrate exclusively on the brokerage boat market. I joined Brewer Yacht Sales, one of the Northeast's largest yacht brokerage firms. I've now been at Brewer Yacht Sales for over 12 years. I work out of two of Safe Harbor's largest Connecticut marinas: Bruce & Johnsons Marina in Branford and Stratford Marina in Stratford.
Buying or selling a yacht can be a comprehensive process and you should choose your broker carefully. I am proud of my reputation for honesty and my designation as a Certified Professional Yacht Broker (CPYB). With 40+ years and over 1200 boat sales transactions behind me, the knowledge and experience I've gained are invaluable when it comes to protecting my client's interests. Whether you are considering buying or selling, power or sail, I can help. I look forward to working with you.
