Get to Know Capt. Nick Stanczyk:
I grew up at Bud n’ Mary’s Marina in Islamorada, Florida. My family has owned and operated the marina since 1978. I fished with my father and uncle since I could walk, and now I take my two daughters fishing and boating on a regular basis. I wanted to be a fishing captain and have a fishing tv show since I was a young boy. I ran charters starting at 18 years old while I was in college, and did it full time for 15 years after college. My charter career slowed down after having my second child a few years back but my YouTube career took off. It wasn’t the tv show I wanted as a child but I think it’s even better! I have made over fishing, boating, and travel videos on our “StanzFam” YouTube channel since 2017! I have had lots of clients on the show in addition to my family and friends. Yacht brokerage seemed like a natural progression in my career since I have been on boats since I was a child. I love helping clients get into the boat of the dreams! I am familiar with a lot of boat brands but Freeman Boatworks is where my heart is. I have owned 5 different boats the past 9 years and have 2 more personal boats coming this year.
