Mike is a seasoned Sport fish Captain with extensive experience in the yachting industry. Raised in Stuart, Florida, the “Sailfish Capital of the World,” Mike’s passion for fishing and boating was sparked at a young age, influenced by the local fishing culture and his family’s ties to the ocean. He grew up absorbing invaluable knowledge about fishing gear, vessels, and angling in his father’s tackle shop.
Mike graduated from Martin County High School and then attended Indian River State College. After, he pursued a career as a charter fisherman, honing his skills in various waters and earning his 100 Ton Masters certification. For over 23 years, he has expertly managed and maintained a 67-foot Sportfish vessel and a custom Miller 36-foot Sportfish, developing a deep understanding of all boat systems, from engine maintenance to navigational.
Mike’s meticulous approach ensures each vessel’s functionality, performance, and safety. His extensive knowledge of engines and systems, combined with his hands-on experience and eye for detail, make him a valuable professional in the boating industry.
Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending weekends on the water with his wife of 23 years, Michelle, their daughter Taylor, and their beloved black lab, Georgia.
