Corinna grew up sailing and windsurfing on lakes in Germany, where she was a member of her local sailing club, racing Optimists and 420s.
In 2010, she moved to St. Simons Island, GA, and quickly fell in love with the Georgia Coast and its waterways. She began powerboating on a Stingray, earned her ASA license, and soon embraced boat ownership. She and her husband started with a Catalina 22, progressed to a Pearson 323, and later an Irwin 38. As co-captain, Corinna managed a crew that included two children and a dog. Over the years, she has gained extensive experience through month-long cruises to the Florida Keys and a full-time cruising journey sailing the Gulf of Mexico, the Keys, the Bahamas down to George Town, and back to Georgia.
