Description
NEW LISTING - BEAUTIFULLY CUSTOMIZED
Let us begin with the make which is the very popular C&C 30, known for the quick hull and the ability to single-hand if needed.
A beautiful C&C 30, located in North Saanich Marina on VCR Island, has just been listed. The C&C 30 Mk1 is designed by the well-known two guys Cutherbertson & Cassion
who were mechanical engineers & the other guy an aircraft designer. Together they created C&C YACHTS. The model C&C Mk1 30 is a high-performance fiberglass monohull with a fin keel. These were designed as an ocean cruiser but because of the design, she is quick. Now the 30 has been recognized as a fun fast racer. The integrated monohull is a tough lay up and adds to the attraction of the C&C design. Being 30ft, this is a great size for a couple or for someone to single-hand.
The current owner working in the Aerospace industry has taken "ESCAPE" and added his touches. This is a totally customized vessel below decks and behind the scenes. From the visual perspective, they updated the interior to better fit someone who loves to cook. Elongated counters with composite light-weight materials. Added in a nice S/S dbl sink. All new plumbing. They modernized the look and feel with new dimmable LED lighting strips. Updated the upholstery colors and new foam cushions. The Galley stove was removed, gimballed properly, cleaned and inspected then tested for clean operation. Then repainted blue, a crisp new color. Works and looks like new. Beautiful new tiled backsplash to match. Then go behind scenes and all the systems you don't see have been inspected, replaced or upgraded. Electrical systems, plumbing, charging, thru hulls, & the engine. The engine shines and starts with a touch of the ignition. Gorgeous!!!
They then had the exterior inspected, checked and a survey just completed. Main sail very crisp. The Jib in great shape. All the running rigging looks really nice, some new where needed. Standing rigging was given the thumbs up. All cable steering and throttle controls cleaned and working nice and smooth. She was just hauled out and new zincs put on. Survey completed then as well. Another great option for someone is that the slip is assumable......If you are wanting to get a sailboat and something unique, I think you need to "ESCAPE". Call or email anytime to book a personal tour!
