Description
This 1976 Master Angler 20’ Potter hull has been a true labor of love and has been beautifully maintained and thoughtfully rebuilt over the years. If you know Potter hulls, you know how respected they are for their ride and seaworthiness, and this one has been professionally updated while still keeping the classic look and feel that makes these boats so special.
Beginning in 2021, the boat went through a major refit that was done the right way. The transom was professionally replaced and reinforced with additional fiberglass for long-term strength and reliability. A custom rear deck and engine bracket were also professionally built and installed, giving the boat a clean, functional layout with plenty of usable space. The decking was refinished in Awlgrip with non-skid and still presents beautifully.
Power comes from a 2021 Mercury 225 with only 160 hours since 2022. The engine runs strong, is extremely reliable, and pushes the boat effortlessly. The electronics and accessories have also been updated with a new Garmin unit, Bennett trim tabs, and a Fusion MS-RA55 stereo system. The boat is also equipped with a freshwater tank, making it great for long days on the water.
The package includes a 2017 dual axle Continental trailer that tows excellent and matches the boat perfectly.
This is not a project boat or something patched together. The hard work has already been done, and it shows. It’s a solid, clean, turnkey classic that’s ready to fish, cruise, or enjoy immediately.

Brayden Schoch, originally from Kutztown, Pennsylvania, has been visiting Florida's Treasure Coast since 2007 and has now made it his full-time home. Spending summers at the Jersey Shore ignited his passion for the ocean, and his boating journey began at just two years old. He has since navigated vessels ranging from 20-foot bay boats to a 72-foot Viking, cultivating a deep connection to the sea.
Now based in Florida, Brayden is actively working toward obtaining his Captain's License, aiming to turn his lifelong passion into a professional endeavor. When he's not on the water, he enjoys spending time with his family and his adventurous puppy, Blu—his favorite co-captain on boat days. He also enjoys playing hockey in his free time. His days often include fishing, free diving, and cruising to local sandbars, as well as boating trips to the Florida Keys, the Bahamas, and other tropical destinations—fully embracing the coastal lifestyle he loves.
