Blake grew up on the water. His parents had several different boats growing up and some of his earliest memories are of early mornings running offshore in the Gulf out of Homosassa, FL, impatiently waiting for the long boat ride to end so he could get his line in the water. He's been in love with boats and fishing ever since.
In 2005, his parents bought a 40' Luhrs Convertible and started a family charter fishing operation out of Fort Pierce, FL. After several years of running the cockpit as a mate for his dad, eventually Blake obtained his captain's license and started running the boat himself for charters out of Palm Beach, FL. He went on to run several large private sportfish and motor yachts throughout the Bahamas, Gulf, and east coast from Key West to Maine. In 2012, Blake found the opportunity to get his brokerage license and saw it as a chance to help other people find what his family found — a boat to create lasting memories on with family and friends.
Over the past 12 years, Blake has closed more than 100 transactions, from 30-foot center consoles to 100+ foot motor yachts. From his captaining experience, he knows these boats inside and out — not just the specs, but what they're like at sea, what to look for in a survey, and what questions to ask before you sign anything.Blake is married and has 3 kids who also love boats, fishing, and everything outdoors. You might see them fishing offshore Jupiter and Stuart or hanging out at the sandbar aboard their boat called the Sails Pitch.
