Description
2014 Yellowfin 42 Offshore
Few center consoles have achieved the reputation and following of the Yellowfin 42 Offshore. Built to run hard, fish harder, and comfortably handle offshore conditions that send many boats back to the dock, the 42 remains one of the most respected performance center consoles ever built.
The boat has recently undergone a major upgrade with the installation of triple 2015 Yamaha 350 outboards showing approximately 600 hours. Combined with Yellowfin's legendary stepped-hull design, this package delivers the speed, range, and reliability serious offshore boaters demand.
Designed with both tournament anglers and family cruisers in mind, the spacious layout offers an enormous cockpit, abundant rod storage, multiple fish boxes, livewell, bow seating, and a surprisingly comfortable cabin complete with berth accommodations, enclosed head, and shower.
The vessel has recently received a full professional detail and presents exceptionally well. A Side-Power bow thruster enhances maneuverability around docks and marinas, while the extensive Garmin electronics package provides the confidence needed for long-range offshore adventures.
Whether your plans include tournament fishing, Bahamas cruising, diving, or weekend entertaining, the Yellowfin 42Offshore remains one of the most capable and sought-after center consoles in her class.

As a 500-ton captain with over 10 years’ experience, captaining Hatteras, Viking, Westport, and Sunseeker yachts, Paul is an asset to the Luke Brown Yachts sales team.
Born in Daytona Beach, Paul grew up around boats, working in engine rooms alongside his do-it-yourself grandfather. A self-made man, Paul's grandfather taught him the joys of working hard and fixing your own equipment. With these lifelong virtues instilled, Paul earned an AB Special job on 180’ crew boats in the oil fields of the Louisiana Gulf. This teeth-cutting experience provided Paul with diverse knowledge in maintaining and safely operating dangerous machinery, oil rigging, radar mapping, STCW, and helicopter operating near marine vessels.
Currently residing in Delray Beach, FL, with his golden retriever Banksy, Paul uses his 30 years of experience to help owners and operators make prudent decisions in buying, selling, operating, and maintaining boats.
