Description
Spirit of Tortola is a custom-built Parker 1000 Baltic, built in Poland in 2018 for Virgin Islands Search and Rescue in the British Virgin Islands. These boats are well known for handling rough seas and bad weather extremely well.
This vessel can be used for many different purposes, including day charters, resort shuttles, rescue work, or law enforcement. It is rated for 18 passengers, making it a great option for a small resort or private shuttle service.
The sale also includes an extra set of tubes worth around $25,000 USD. The current tubes are still in excellent condition, so the new owner likely will not need to replace them for many years.
Spirit of Tortola is a strong, reliable, and versatile vessel ready for commercial or private use.

Owner's Comments and Boat History
Spirit of Tortola was commissioned in 2018 to serve as a search and rescue vessel in the British Virgin Islands for the non-profit organization VISAR. She served the organization faithfully until 2024, when VISAR upgraded to a newer vessel.
Throughout her service life, she was professionally maintained by the VISAR team and stored inside a hangar on a lift, protected from both the sun and water when not in use. Her current owner purchased the vessel directly from VISAR and has enjoyed using her as a day boat throughout the BVI over the past several years.
Now offered for sale, Spirit of Tortola represents a unique opportunity to acquire a proven, commercial-grade vessel with an exceptional maintenance history. The owner is open to offers.

Lu has lived in the BVI all of his life and has lived aboard boats for most of those years. He has a deep knowledge of the BVI and has worked in the marine industry here for quite a few years in various positions including dive master, salvage diver, and yacht management. Lu’s most recent position was in real estate sales for BVI Sothebys where he sold and assisted in the sales of some of the most luxurious properties around.
Lu missed working in the yachting industry so he decided to use his sales expertise towards selling yachts here in the BVI and throughout the Caribbean.
