Description
This 1999 Boston Whaler 26 Outrage is a heavily built, unsinkable center console located in Harrison Township, Michigan. Renowned for its legendary hull design and exceptional offshore capability, this Great Lakes freshwater vessel provides a dry, stable ride that is perfectly suited for handling the choppy conditions of Lake St. Clair or running far out into the open water. The deck layout is highly functional and engineered with serious angling and day cruising in mind. It features a spacious cockpit with ample rod storage, live wells, fish boxes, and a robust T-top that provides excellent shelter from the elements. Forward of the helm console, a integrated bench seat offers comfortable riding positions for guests, while the helm station itself provides clear visibility, intuitive controls, and plenty of space for marine electronics. Powered by twin Mercury outboard engines, this 26 Outrage delivers the responsive performance, speed, and reliability required for both tournament fishing and weekend family excursions. With Boston Whaler's signature unsinkable construction, premium deck hardware, and low-maintenance design, this offshore center console represents a rugged and dependable option for boaters looking to maximize their time on the water.
FACTORY DESCRIPTION: With 200 gallons of fuel, Boston Whaler’s reputation for quality construction, and an all-new deep-V hull (replacing the company’s earlier hard-riding hulls), the 26 Outrage combines the range and offshore muscle to go head-to-head with boats much bigger than 26 feet. This was a popular family and fishing boat for many years in the Whaler fleet and it is easy to see why. In spite of her modest (and trailerable) 8'6" beam, the uncluttered deck layout of the 26 Outrage is ideally suited for 360-degree fishability. Standard features include a 30-gallon transom livewell, leaning post with removable backrest, enclosed rod storage, in-deck fish boxes, bait-prep station, transom door, trim tabs, and foldaway rear seat. The walk-in head compartment includes a sink and shower in addition to the standard Porta-Potti. Ample interior freeboard and standard stainless steel toe rails help keep passengers secure when gaffing fish or retrieving skis. With a range of 350–400 nautical miles, the 26 Outrage has the ability to venture far offshore with the added assurance of Boston Whaler’s legendary unsinkable hull. A good performer with twin 225hp Mercury outboards, she’ll reach a top speed in the mid 40-knot range.

Founder Tom Dunigan's journey into the business started at a young age. He grew up on the water spending his summers at The Detroit Yacht Club and winters in Southwest Florida developing a strong passion for boating immediately. His teenage years were spent working at Hossack Marine Sales on Lake St. Clair and honed his skills through years of hands-on experience. In the spring of 2019, the boating community suffered the tragic loss of Scott Hossack, founder of Hossack Marine Sales who mentored Tom in the business. The impact Scott had on Tom inspired him to start the Dunigan Marine Group. The company started as a one-man operation specializing in brokerage services and the acclaimed Vessel Education Training. Today, Dunigan Marine has now grown to a multi personnel sales team serving all bodies of water in South East Michigan and their customers boating needs.
