Rich Lucas is originally from West Babylon, New York. Rich has been around boats, “Since I was a young boy.” He retired from the NYPD Marine Unit in 2004, has owned and operated a charter boat company, has a 100-ton Mas- ters Captain’s License, and has fished the tournament circuit. He joined SIYS’s Fishing Team full-time in 2000. He began part-time conducting boating lessons, making deliveries, and has since prospered as a Yacht Specialist for the past 7 years. His knowledge of the marine industry and his impeccable attention to customer needs – “my cell phone is never off.” – has earned him top sales honors at SIYS for the past six years.
