GENERAL OVERVIEW
This Bertram 31' Express Cruiser was completely rebuilt in Stuart, Florida from 2025 to 2026. Everything except the hull structure is "new”. JOY RIDE is now powered by twin 350hp Yamaha outboards with digital electric steering mounted on a bracket. There is a Seakeeper DC powered gyro stabilizer, new fuel tanks (400 gallons), Garmin electronics, Custom Blue Water teak helm and companion chairs, an Inverter System to run 110V items, 12V cabin air-conditioning, custom hardtop with weather enclosure, bow thruster, windlass, transom live well, refrigerated drink box, and everything is virtually unused. Five years of warranty on the motors. This work was done by a retired boat builder who had previously refitted numerous 31' Bertrams. Photos can only partially show the story. HULL and DECK
The hull is painted Ice Blue and has dark blue bottom paint. There is a white rub rail with solid polished stainless steel strike insert. Yamaha motors are white with custom paint top cowling to match hull. Topsides are painted Cloud White with non-skid finished decks. Helm seats have blue and white custom cushions and arm rest pads. Cockpit has hose drains on all hatch gutters and chrome drain grills on the corner scuppers. Cabin has Teak & Holly sole, varnished teak trims, and teak hull cladding in berth area. Berth area has a filler cushion and storage beneath the berth. Cabin settee has storage beneath the bench and behind the backrest. Rectangular varnished teak table with spill edge and two drink holders. Cabin windows are dark tinted.
