Description
Built without compromise, this custom Mirage 61 represents a rare opportunity to own a truly one-of-a-kind sportfishing yacht that blends legendary offshore pedigree with modern engineering and craftsmanship.
Constructed on the renowned Mirage 61 hull—derived from the legendary Bertram 60 running surface—this yacht benefits from thoughtful refinements including propeller pockets for improved shaft angle, efficiency, and shallow-water capability. Built using advanced resin infusion technology, the hull is significantly lighter than traditional solid-laminate construction while maintaining exceptional strength, resulting in outstanding performance, efficiency, and ride quality.
Power comes from twin Caterpillar C32 diesel engines rated at 1,675 HP each, showing approximately 1,200 original hours. The combination of lightweight construction, refined hull design, and reliable Caterpillar power delivers effortless performance with a comfortable cruise speed exceeding 30 knots and a top speed approaching 40 knots.
No expense was spared during her construction. Every aspect of the vessel was built with an open-checkbook philosophy, incorporating premium materials, meticulous craftsmanship, and an exceptional level of attention to detail. Drawing inspiration from today's finest production and custom sportfishing yachts, the layout, systems, finish work, and functionality reflect the best of modern sportfish design while retaining the rugged reliability of a legendary hull.
From the engine room to the bridge, every component was selected and installed with longevity, serviceability, and performance in mind. The result is a yacht that not only turns heads at the dock but is equally at home running offshore in demanding conditions.
For the buyer seeking something beyond the ordinary, this Mirage 61 stands alone. It combines the timeless reputation of one of the most respected sportfishing hulls ever designed with modern construction methods, exhilarating performance, and custom craftsmanship that would be extraordinarily difficult—and far more expensive—to replicate today.

With more than thirty years of hands-on experience in the boating industry, beginning at the age of 14, I have dedicated my career to helping boaters buy, sell, maintain, and enjoy the right vessel for their needs. As the Sales and Service Manager of CFR Yacht Sales, a family-owned business founded by my father in 1973, I have been immersed in every aspect of yacht sales, brokerage, service, and operations for most of my life.
After officially joining the company full-time in 2003, I expanded my responsibilities across both sales and service operations, developing a unique combination of commercial and technical expertise. My extensive involvement in vessel commissioning, maintenance, repairs, warranty support, and customer service has given me an in-depth understanding of the products and brands we represent, as well as the broader pre-owned yacht market.
This technical foundation allows me to provide clients with guidance that goes far beyond the initial purchase. I help buyers evaluate the right vessel for their needs while offering practical insight into ownership, maintenance requirements, operating characteristics, and long-term service considerations. My goal is to ensure that every customer makes an informed decision and enjoys a seamless ownership experience for years to come.
In addition to representing new boat brands, I specialize in brokerage and pre-owned vessel sales. As a listing broker, my technical knowledge and industry experience allow me to accurately evaluate vessels, identify potential issues before they become obstacles, and guide sellers through every stage of the transaction. From pricing strategy and marketing to surveys, sea trials, negotiations, and closing, I work diligently to ensure a smooth, transparent, and successful selling experience.
Having spent my entire life around boats and more than 20 years in a full-time leadership role at CFR Yacht Sales, I take pride in building long-term relationships with clients through honesty, product knowledge, and exceptional customer support. Whether assisting first-time buyers, experienced yacht owners, or clients looking to sell their vessel, I bring a lifetime of industry experience and a commitment to delivering results while making the process as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.
