Description
Essentially New. Immediately Available.
Some boats arrive on the market with a story. This one arrives with almost no hours on the clock.
A 2025 Sessa Marine F47, presented in exceptional condition and ready to run this season — no build slot, no waiting list, no first-year sorting out. For a buyer who wants a current-model Italian flybridge yacht in the water and cruising the Gulf Islands within weeks rather than years, the opportunity here is straightforward.
The Boat
Sessa built the F47 to resolve a compromise that most yachts in this size range simply live with. Flybridge boats gain a second helm and an entertaining deck, and pay for it in interior volume and in looks. The F47 doesn't accept the trade. The flybridge runs to roughly 215 square feet — genuine seating for eight to ten — while the main deck below stays open, bright, and connected to the water rather than walled off from it.
The result is a yacht that reads as a sport cruiser from the dock and lives like a much larger vessel once you step aboard.
Below decks, three cabins accommodate six overnight in comfort. The galley is properly sized and sensibly laid out — this is a boat built for people who actually cook aboard, not one where the galley is an afterthought squeezed between the settee and the companionway. Natural light reaches everywhere it should.
The hull carries forward Sessa's larger-yacht design work, and it shows in the way she handles a chop. Predictable, planted, and forgiving in the conditions the Strait of Georgia serves up without warning.
Power and Handling
Twin Volvo Penta IPS 600 D6 diesels deliver 880 horsepower combined through pod drives, pushing the F47 to a top end of 31 knots.
The practical benefit of IPS shows up long before you reach cruising speed. Joystick control makes close-quarters manoeuvring in a crosswind at a crowded Coal Harbour finger something a competent owner does alone, without drama and without a crew standing by. Add the efficiency and quiet running the pod system is known for, and the range this yacht offers across the Salish Sea becomes very real.
On Deck
Teak underfoot in the cockpit and along the side decks. A hydraulic gangway. Cockpit table, cushioned seating, and a transom shower for the swim platform. The details are correct, and they were specified from new rather than added later.
Aboard
Air conditioning and reverse-cycle heating for shoulder-season cruising. Generator and shore power. Full galley with oven, microwave, refrigeration and deep freeze. Electric heads and on-demand hot water throughout.
Electronics are comprehensive: radar, GPS and chartplotter, autopilot, VHF, depth sounder, compass and helm repeaters, with entertainment systems in the salon and cockpit.
