Accommodation
The Lagoon 440 features a practical and highly sought-after 4-cabin, 4-head layout, with 2 spacious ensuite guest cabins in each hull, making her equally suited to private cruising or charter operations.
Forward, the port forepeak houses a skipper's cabin, while the starboard forepeak contains a separate skipper's head and shower. Both spaces are currently being used for storage, offering excellent additional stowage, but can easily be returned to crew accommodation if desired.
The bright, open-plan saloon enjoys panoramic 360-degree views through large wraparound windows and features a comfortable L-shaped settee, a dedicated navigation station, and excellent headroom throughout. The L-shaped galley is positioned aft to starboard, providing a practical connection to the cockpit for easy serving and entertaining.
Generous windows, opening hatches, and portlights flood the interior with natural light while providing excellent ventilation, creating a bright, airy living space that is comfortable both at anchor and underway.

Owner's Comments and Boat History
My wife and I have owned and operated many different boats during our lives. We are professional crew and have operated large yachts all over the world. We have owned several sailboats, both monohulls and catamarans.
We bought ALIZE in Grenada at the end of 2019 with the idea of living aboard and operating charters in the British Virgin Islands, something we had previously done with our former catamaran. The boat had only one previous owner, had been very well maintained, and had seen only light charter use.
After purchasing her, we completed a comprehensive refit, carefully inspecting every system and replacing anything we felt was necessary to create a comfortable, reliable yacht for both living aboard and working in the BVI.
The result has exceeded our expectations. ALIZE has proven to be a wonderful sailing catamaran. The 4-cabin, 4-head layout is exceptionally comfortable, with abundant storage and numerous spaces to relax both inside and on deck. Personally, I love the flybridge. Operating the boat from up there with its unrestricted visibility makes maneuvering in tight marinas remarkably easy. Our guests also love the forward cockpit, which quickly becomes everyone's favorite place while sailing between the islands.
As you can probably tell, we truly love this boat. Our decision to sell comes only because we are getting older and have decided it is time to retire, return home, and spend more time with family and friends. After 40 years of sailing and living aboard around the world, we feel it is time to begin a new chapter.
Whether you are looking for a comfortable liveaboard cruiser, a capable charter yacht, or a fast and enjoyable sailing catamaran for family cruising and the occasional race, we are confident you will appreciate ALIZE as much as we have. She is a fantastic yacht that deserves owners who will enjoy and care for her for many years to come.
